TBM Easy Payment Plan Terms & Conditions

1. DEFINITIONS

    1.1. The “TBM Easy Payment Plan” refers to the Buy Now, Pay Later (“BNPL”) facility offered by Chailease Berjaya Credit Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 199901019455 {494355-D}), (“CBC”), in collaboration with TBM (Company No. 199501027792 {356997H}) for the purchase of any Products at TBM Stores and Online Shop.

    1.2. “Products” means any home appliances products sold by TBM.

    1.3. “Customers” refers to individuals who purchase Products from TBM using the TBM Easy Payment Plan.

    2. ELIGIBILITY

    2.1 To qualify for the TBM Easy Payment Plan, Customers must meet the eligibility criteria set by TBM and CBC, which include a creditworthiness assessment and verification of personal and financial details.

    2.2 The TBM Easy Payment Plan is open to Malaysian aged 18 years and above.

    2.3 TBM and CBC reserve the right to reject any application that does not meet the credit assessment standards.

    3. TERMS OF THE TBM EASY PAYMENT PLAN

    3.1 The TBM Easy Payment Plan permits Customers to finance the purchase of Products over a specified period, subject to a monthly interest rate of 1.25%.  

    3.2 The TBM Easy Payment Plan is available for a tenure of up to 48 months.

    3.3 No upfront deposit is required for Customers opting for the TBM Easy Payment Plan.

    3.4 Monthly instalment payments are due as per the schedule outlined in the finance agreement.

    3.5 Failure to make timely payments may result in additional charges, including but not limited to late payment fees or interest surcharges, as specified in the finance agreement.

    3.6 Early settlement of the outstanding balance before the end of the agreed tenure may be subject to a nominal administrative fee, as determined by TBM and CBC.

    3.7 A fast approval process is available, typically within 2 – 3 hours of receiving all necessary documents.

    4. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION ACT (“PDPA”) 2010

    4.1 TBM and CBC shall ensure all personal data collected from the TBM Easy Payment Plan is managed under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709).

    4.2 By applying for this plan, you consent to the sharing of your personal and financial information with TBM and CBC for credit assessment, processing, and future marketing activities.

    4.3. Customers may request access to or correction of their data by contacting TBM’s customer service at https://wa.me/60166682479.

    5. VERIFICATION PROCESS

    5.1 TBM or CBC may contact the Customer for verification as needed. TBM or CBC reserve the right to disqualify any Customer suspected of fraud, submitting falsified documents, or tampering with the submission process.

    5.2. Customers are expected to provide accurate and truthful information. Failure to do so may result in disqualification or legal action.

    6. CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS

    6.1. Customers are responsible for ensuring timely instalment payments and for updating their contact details with TBM and CBC to avoid delays in communication regarding the payment plan. 

    6.2. In the event of any change in contact or financial details, Customers must notify TBM or CBC immediately to prevent any disruptions in the payment process.

    7. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

    7.1. Any disputes arising from the TBM Easy Payment Plan may be directed to TBM’s customer service at https://wa.me/60166682479. TBM and CBC will endeavour to resolve the matter amicably. 

    7.2. In the event of an unresolved dispute, the matter may be referred to mediation or the appropriate court in Malaysia, subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.

    8. AMENDMENTS TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    8.1. TBM and CBC reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, with prior notice to the Customers via email or an official announcement on TBM’s website. 

    8.2. Continued participation in the TBM Easy Payment Plan after such amendments implies acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.

    9. CUSTOMER CONDUCT

    9.1. Customers are expected to interact with TBM and CBC staff with respect and professionalism. Any form of abusive, offensive, or inappropriate behaviour, whether verbal or written, is strictly prohibited. 

    9.2. TBM and CBC reserve the right to terminate any Customer’s participation in the TBM Easy Payment Plan in the event of non-compliance with this clause.
