Extra-fine bristles
To remove the bacteria concealed in periodontal pockets that cause periodontal disease with a toothbrush, the tips of the bristles must be able to enter the narrow pockets. With Panasonic's original Extra Fine Brush, the tips of the bristles, which are only approx. 0.02mm in diameter, are designed to reach just 3mm into periodontal pockets.
Sonic vibrations
The brush vibrates at a rotational speed of approx. 31,000 strokes/min for fine, high-speed brush movement.

Two selectable brushing modes
